I was born in 1983 in Cambodia. I have been raised in a four-sibling family in a rural community located in the south of Capital city of Cambodia.
I am currently a student at Flinders University of South Australia for Master of Public Health in Nutrition. I graduated my Bachelor Degree in Nursing Science in Cambodia in 2009 and worked in Public Health sector for Non-Governmental Organization in Cambodia for about six years.
Nutrition field has caught my interest for many years since I have been raised in a poor community where the access to food with appropriate nutrient is quite low. During my working period, I have seen and involved with many children living with poor nutrition, and being disadvantaged from accessing to food and nutrition service in their community. Moreover, I have noticed that many different parts of the world are challenging with overcoming both undernutrition and overnutrition.
